Wow, Magento is constantly updating!
Less than a month ago Magento has announced version 1.3.0 and these days everyone is discussing its latest version 1.3.1.
Magento version 1.3.1 includes a number of bug fixes and improvements. As for bug fixes, you’ll never again experience problems with product creation, layered navigation, product display and also installing other locale than English (United States) or switching language in admin panel and others.
And what’s most important in the latest Magento release is that two more payment options have been integrated – Amazon Simple Pay and Checkout By Amazon.
It should be also mentioned that some changes have been made to the flat catalog module. Thus, you’ll have to rebuild a Flat Catalog Product and enable Flat Catalog Product Module.
All modifications that have been made are mentioned on Release Notes Page.
So you can download Magento version 1.3.1 and take advantage of its improvements. Please don’t forget to backup your database before the upgrade.
